My friend has been hyping this place up for a while, and I finally went. It was the worth the hype. It's probably one of the best taco spots in Brooklyn. The birria taco is a must-try (Best taco I've had). Also, I was a huge fan of their horchata. Definitely check this spot out if you get a chance!

Hands down the absolute best birria tacos in NYC. This is a must try if you are ever in NY pls visit these guys. Consome with the tacos and a cold soda will hit the spot Every. Single. Time.

Visited Brooklyn for a week and this was definitely my *favorite* spot! We ate there 3 times. The birria tacos and consomè are something else and the atmosphere is so inviting!! If I ever get the death sentence, this would be my last meal request.

Magnificent! It was worth the wait. I drove 32 miles to enjoy the best birra tacos I ever had.... and I have had many.

Oh my Goodness!! Say your prayers before and after eating at Nene's Deli Taqueria... the after prayer is for thanks again, but also forgiveness, because the food is sinfully good lol. Dude and I were at an event and starving. An acquaintance recommended Nene's, I looked at the Yelp profile (the norm), and we ordered the birria pizza and birria tacos. Let's start with the pizza, which is pretty much a giant birria quesadilla stuffed with cheesy goodness. I felt so guilty while I was eating... It's rich, cheesy, and indulgent! It was way too much for two people and took two days and two households to complete it. It stands without the birria gravy! A good idea for a small gathering, a good idea for hangover parties, just a good idea for a small group.. Honestly, I cannot personally attest for the tacos. Nevertheless, my super picky teenage girl said they were everything!

The Birria Tacos are so worth the trip into this little deli. They have so much flavor, it's hard to eat just 1. I would recommend ordering a couple if you're super hungry - or order a variety of tacos and share with friends.

Bruh. Tacos imported straight from the heavens. I'm not even a taco person but hot damn these are the best I've ever had. Think about the best taco you've had, Nene's are 100% 10000000x better. Legit. I had the birria tacos, birria quesadilla, and a birria empanada, along with some consommé to dip everything into. It was so good I could cry. Pro tip: order in advance and you won't be stuck in a long line.

BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN NYC BY FAR. I moved to Brooklyn about 6 months ago from Los Angeles and I've been struggling to find decent tacos. This place doesn't miss. Delicious every time. Carne asada meat is good quality and you must try all of their salsas. Very impressive selection of mexican candy and sodas. Horchata was also delicious. Must try!!
